The exhibition Beyond Geometry. Frei Otto x Kengu Kuma explores the links between resource-saving architecture and innovative design. The aim of this workshop is for teams to build the most impressive bridge out of uncooked spaghetti. Will a particularly lightweight construction be the winner or will stability be the deciding factor? And which bridge will impress with its elegant design? Everyone is cordially invited to join in building and cheering!

Participants will learn the basic principles of bridge building and statics in a creative and fun way, while constructing functional bridge models from the most popular Italian pasta. The aim is to understand how the planning process for bridges works, what all needs to be considered and to explore Frei Otto's creative approach.

Please register by e-mail (info.kunstsammlungen@stadt-chemnitz.de) or telephone (0371 488 4424). The number of participants is limited.
