Watch out families: Young and old can experience a picture-book Christmas on all four Advent weekends in Zwickau. This is when Osterstein Castle is transformed into a fairytale winter wonderland. Children can look forward to a colourful programme ranging from tobogganing fun, carousel rides and fairytale cinema to bread on a stick around the campfire and encounters with Olaf and Father Christmas. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy the cosy atmosphere in the large, festively decorated tipis with a Swedish fire, live music and culinary delights. Between glowing candle arches and regional handicrafts, hands-on stations invite visitors to get crafting and making.
