Fabric Visions

Between substance and idea

The exhibition features ten artistic positions on the medium of textiles and sits at the intersection of showcasing and participation. Many of the works are directly related to the Esche Museum or are created on-site. The focus is on the ecological and social sustainable handling of textiles and fashion, a theme that runs through both the exhibition and the numerous accompanying events. On the opening day, performances, actions, machine demonstrations, and music invite visitors to engage with the exhibition in a lively way. The artists are available for conversation and open exchange.
