Fabric Visions
Between substance and idea
The exhibition showed ten artistic positions on the medium of textiles and moved at the interface between showing and (co-)making. Many of the works related directly to the Esche Museum or were created on site. The focus was on the ecological and socially sustainable use of textiles and fashion, which was addressed in the presentation and the numerous accompanying events. On the opening day, performances, activities, machine demonstrations and music invited visitors to experience the exhibition in a lively way. The artists were available for discussions and open dialogue.
