House Rules "Feierabend!"
§ 1 Preamble
(1) These house rules apply to the event “Feierabend!” on 29 November 2025 in Chemnitz on Brückenstraße, which is organized by Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH as the event organizer. By means of these house rules, the organizer fulfils its traffic safety obligations.
(2) The aim of the house rules is to ensure the safety of visitors and residents and to enable the event to run smoothly.
(3) The house rules are published on the homepage and posted visibly across the entire area on construction fences.
§2 Scope of application
The scope of these house rules refers to the following event areas in the public area: Brückenstraße Chemnitz
The house rules are valid from 29.11.2025 from 16:00 to 0:00 for all visitors to the event on the premises. By entering the event area, the visitor recognises these rules as binding. Violations may result in immediate expulsion or exclusion from the event.
§ 3 Domiciliary rights
The organiser has domiciliary rights. During the event, the Organiser and the security service commissioned by the Organiser(Organize Security- und Eventservice UG) shall exercise domiciliary rights.
§4 Stay of visitors
The security service has the right - also through the use of technical aids - to examine persons to determine whether they pose a security risk due to alcohol or drug consumption or by carrying weapons or dangerous objects.
§5 Access
(1) Security zones will be set up around the stage for the event. Only accredited persons are permitted access to these security zones.
(2) Access to the public event area is generally permitted to all and is free of charge. The legal provisions of the Youth Protection Act apply, in particular §§ 5, 9 and 10. Corresponding excerpts can be found at the end of these house rules.
(3) Bringing alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
(4) Bringing or riding bicycles or (e-)scooters is prohibited throughout the entire event area.
(5) Admission or continued stay may be denied, in particular to persons/visitors who:
- do not follow the instructions of the security service,
- are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
- are visibly willing to commit violence or incite violence,
- are visibly intending to disrupt the event,
- are carrying prohibited items,
- commit administrative or criminal offences,
- wear visible tattoos or clothing that impairs human dignity or may give rise to corresponding misunderstandings; in particular, the use of symbols that are unconstitutional, racist, sexist, xenophobic, extremist, glorify violence, ableist, or otherwise degrading is prohibited,
- conduct unauthorized advertising.
(6) Visitors may also be denied entry if official requirements or other safety reasons prohibit admission.
§ 6 Prohibited Items
The organizer prohibits persons entering the site from bringing or carrying the following items:
- items prohibited by law,
- weapons as defined by § 1 Weapons Act,
- items such as glass bottles or other objects that, by their nature and intended use by the owner, could be used to injure persons or damage property, in particular:
- drones
- blunt/heavy objects
- imitation or toy weapons
- laser pointers
- fireworks, flares, smoke powder and smoke bombs or any other pyrotechnic products
- gas spray cans, corrosive, highly flammable, staining or otherwise harmful substances (solid, liquid, or gaseous) or pressure containers for flammable or harmful gases, except for standard lighters
- substances or liquids emitting foul or unpleasant smells which may impair the well-being of persons,
- flammable items,
- national flags,
- prohibited narcotics under § 29 of the Narcotics Act (BtMG),
- any informational material, items or clothing that is sexist, racist, nationalist, xenophobic, extremist, ableist, violence-glorifying, anti-constitutional, or unconstitutional,
- flags or banner poles longer than 1.0 m or with a diameter or edge length exceeding 10 mm,
- bulky items such as ladders, suitcases, stools, (folding) chairs, flag or banner poles, unless part of an official program item,
- mechanical or electrically operated noise devices (e.g. megaphones, gas horns, hand sirens, music systems of any kind, wind and percussion instruments, rattles, whistles), unless part of an official program item.
- containers made of breakable materials (especially glass),
- items that produce excessive waste, such as large amounts of paper, paper rolls, confetti, or similar materials.
Bringing animals, except for assistance dogs, is prohibited. Assistance dogs must be kept on a leash.
§ 7 Conduct
(1) Each visitor is obliged to cooperate by following the instructions of the organizer, its staff, and security personnel, especially during evacuation and clearing procedures, and by keeping escape and rescue routes clear.
(2) Every visitor must behave in a way that does not injure, endanger, or unreasonably obstruct or disturb others. All visitors must follow the instructions of the security forces, especially the police, fire brigade, and the organizer and its agents. Announcements made by the organizer must be followed at all times.
(3) Lost items found in the event area may be handed over to security staff or, starting Tuesday, 3 December 2025, handed in and collected at the Lost & Found office of the City of Chemnitz (Citizens’ Office, Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 09111 Chemnitz).
(4) Personal injuries or significant property damage must be reported immediately to the security service, emergency services, or the organizer.
§ 8 Prohibited Behaviour
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
- interfering with the event in a disruptive manner,
- entering stage areas without being asked by the organizer,
- climbing or crossing structures or facilities not intended for general use, particularly facades, railings, grandstand railings, fences, walls, enclosures, barriers, lighting systems, camera platforms, trees, poles of any kind, or roofs,
- entering areas not open to the public or not covered by one's access authorization (e.g. functional rooms, media areas),
- permanently marking, painting, or pasting structural facilities, except for removable formats such as children’s chalk or magnetic/static adhesives,
- throwing objects or spilling liquids of any kind, especially toward other visitors or the stage,
- shouting slogans, chants, or making other statements (including written, emblematic, or symbolic) that may defame individuals based on skin color, religion, or sexual orientation, or that contain constitutional, xenophobic, racist, or radical content,
- selling goods, distributing printed materials, flyers, or advertising materials outside one’s own authorized booth space,
- conducting fundraising or similar activities,
- relieving oneself outside designated toilet facilities or littering the area with discarded items, packaging, empty containers, etc.,
- intentionally damaging any objects or facilities.
§ 9 Sanctions for Violations
In case of violations of the house rules, the following sanctions may be imposed:
- the visitor or offender may be excluded from the event and expelled from the area, including any persons involved in the violation,
- criminal offences and administrative violations will be reported to the authorities.
The resulting costs incurred by the organizer shall be borne by the person responsible. The assertion of additional damages is reserved.
§ 10 Miscellaneous
There is a risk of potential hearing or health damage due to elevated volume levels during events. Stroboscopes and laser lights may be used on stage, which may trigger epileptic seizures under certain circumstances. The organizer is liable only within the scope of statutory liability.
(2) The organizer points out that this is a public event without admission restrictions (e.g. tickets), which is also covered by the press. In addition, the organizer produces film, audio, and photo recordings for the purpose of same-day reporting and its own public relations work. § 11 Liability
(1) Entering the event site is at one’s own risk, subject to the liability provisions below. The organizer is not liable for personal or property damage caused by third parties who are not employees, representatives, or vicarious agents of the organizer.
(2) The organizer is liable for damages to life, body, or health caused culpably by the organizer, its employees, legal representatives, or vicarious agents within the statutory framework.
(3) Otherwise, the organizer is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence by itself, its legal representatives, or vicarious agents.
(4) Accidents and damages must be reported immediately.
§ 12 Binding Effect
The house rules become binding for the event area upon entering the premises. Visitors acknowledge the regulations of the house rules for the event on 29 November 2025 by using the event area.

§ 5 Dance Events
Children and adolescents under 16 years of age may not be permitted to attend public dance events without the presence of a custodial person or a person with parental authority, and adolescents aged 16 and over may only be permitted to stay until 12 midnight. […]
§ 9 Alcoholic Beverages
(1) In restaurants, retail outlets or in public,
- beer, wine, similar beverages or sparkling wine or mixtures thereof with non-alcoholic beverages may not be supplied to or consumed by children and young people under 16,
- other alcoholic beverages or food containing significant amounts of alcohol may not be supplied to or consumed by children and young people.
(2) Paragraph 1 no. 1 does not apply if adolescents are accompanied by a custodial person. […]
§ 10 Smoking in Public, Tobacco Products
(1) In restaurants, retail outlets or otherwise in public, tobacco products and other nicotine-containing products and their containers may neither be supplied to nor may consumption be permitted by children or adolescents.
(2) Tobacco products and other nicotine-containing products and their containers may not be offered in vending machines in public unless the vending machine
- is installed in a location inaccessible to children and adolescents, or
- uses technical devices or permanent supervision to ensure that children and adolescents cannot obtain such products.
(3) Tobacco products and other nicotine-containing products and their containers may not be offered to children or adolescents via mail order, nor may they be delivered to them by mail order.
(4) Paragraphs 1 to 3 also apply to nicotine-free products such as electronic cigarettes or electronic shishas in which liquid is vaporized using an electronic heating element and the resulting aerosols are inhaled.
