The project run by the Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Kinder- und Jugendbildung Sachsen e.V. (Saxony State Association for Cultural Education for Children and Young People) encouraged young people aged between 14 and 27 in Saxony towns with up to 40,000 inhabitants to realise their own ideas for cultural events. Young people or multipliers were able to receive financial support and advice on organisational issues. From 2023 to 2025, there was a special focus on youth cultural ideas from the Capital of Culture region. At the end of 2025, Chemnitz 2025 and im:puls organised a youth festival in Chemnitz together with young people, bringing together young people from Chemnitz, Saxony and all over Europe.
