The Supervisory Board of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH

The Supervisory Board of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH consists of representatives from the federal government, the Free State of Saxony, the City of Chemnitz, the region and the business community and is tasked with advising, monitoring and supervising the gGmbH. The Chemnitz City Council elected the members at its meeting on 5 May 2021. The first constituent meeting of the Supervisory Board took place on 26 May 2021.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Lord Mayor Sven Schulze, the Deputy Chairman is the entrepreneur Dr Micaela Schönherr.
