Kamenica Musica

Walk and play your way through the history of music in Chemnitz

I: Ines Eisinger

Chemnitz is full of music – just like its twin cities in Europe. KAMENICA MUSICA brings international musicians together and showcases their joint creations to the public. Inspired by the city’s Sorbian name, the project represents all the different origins of Chemnitz’s residents, both past and present. A trail through Stadtpark Chemnitz features stations where visitors can learn about local music history and lore. It’s very accessible and no prior knowledge is required; simply read and listen. The trail includes different performers, styles, and dances. Every piece of the musical puzzle finds its place here.
