Eastern State of Mind

Chemnitz is an Eastern European city in a Western European country. Yet "the East" is not just geography, it is also biography - and, in addition to politics, culture and the environment, has above all characterised the self-perception of the people here. This resulted in a pragmatic power mentality: Eastern European mentality focussed on this attitude and connected the stories of the people in the city, the region and Europe.
