Programme fields

The Chemnitz 2025 programme covers five programme areas. They form the content structure of the Capital of Culture year and reflect the aspects of Chemnitz 2025. Each programme field is assigned a main project. There are also many other projects. What all projects have in common is that they are designed and realised by the people of Chemnitz and the region. Citizen involvement and participation take centre stage and form a central focus of this European Capital of Culture.
