The focus of the bus tour is the life and achievements of Richard Hartmann.
The tour begins at the Hartmann Factory, continues via Kaßberg to key locations of his work and his burial monument. In Euba, a stop at the former reservoir of the German Reichsbahn invites participants to take a lunch break. The tour concludes with a visit to the Saxon Railway Museum, including a guided tour.
The journey highlights the impressive industrial history of Chemnitz through the example of Hartmann and underscores the city’s significance as an industrial hub in the past, present, and future.
