Two Towns

A performative audio walk through the city with voices from Chemnitz and Coventry

Photo: Natalie Bleyl

Who were the people walking through the two cities of Chemnitz and Coventry? And how did these people feel? In this performative audio walk, participants were able to hear and feel these emotions first-hand through headphones and performance, each from the perspective of one of the other cities. With real voices and realities of life from Chemnitz and Coventry that were normally inaudible in the city. In the process, the boundaries between the cities and perspectives were deliberately blurred.
