The exhibition impressively demonstrated why good design, intelligent solutions and unconventional ideas make all the difference. Furniture and interior design, design and illustration, film and music, fashion and accessories, art and performance – the diversity was enormous. The exhibition ‘Made in Saxony’ presented the most impressive projects from Saxony's cultural and creative industries. It inspired, sensitised and informed in equal measure, inviting the whole of Europe to rediscover the region's creative landscape during its year as European Capital of Culture.
