Textile-artistic food for thought
30 renowned textile artists from six European countries have been invited to deal artistically and creatively with the theme "What's New?" in a non-constricting open way. The results include pictorial and abstract works, art quilts, installations and textile objects. All of them tell stories, reflect cultural identities or address political, social as well as personal topics, sometimes establishing relationships to the museum's own exhibits. A feast for the eyes with depth.
