Whitsun weekend at the garage yard

The #3000Garagenfestival is a festival that is all about garage culture. The programme follows the biographies, hobbies and skills of the garage users - be it vaulting on a mechanical horse, perfuming fragrant wonder trees or setting a culinary record.

Documentation centre on the NSU complex in Saxony

Based on the NSU complex, Offener Prozess shows stories of migration and the everyday racism that people are still exposed to today. But also their resistance to it. It portrays the continuous right-wing violence and the loud voices that stood up against it.
There will also be educational programmes such as guided tours and district walks on the Whitsun weekend.
UWE Festival
Urban art between switch cabinets
[7 and 8 June / Etzdorf, Striegistal]
At the UWE Festival in Etzdorf, the old substation will be transformed into an interactive gallery for urban art in rural areas. Graffiti, stencils and murals will be created between old switch cabinets.
Panorama Radio
Car journey in temporary community
[6-8 June]
Panorama Radio plays with the means of theatre and performance, radio, spatial installation and intervention. The events inside the car interact with the outside. How can community and publicity be created and for what? Participation only with registration!
333 hours workshop of wonders
Join in, try things out, work in Augustusburg

In the Augustusburg feudal court, all kinds of things can be done in the 333-hour Workshop of Wonders: Weaving, soldering, woodwork, printing, cartography and more. This weekend is especially inviting for children!

European Realities is the first exhibition to bring together the realism movements of the 1920s and 1930s as a pan-European movement. A world that had come apart at the seams found its artistic expression in an art that emphasised reality.

Opening ZEUX Material Initiative
Circular economy in culture

The ZEUX materials initiative processes surplus residual materials from industry, commerce and the cultural sector and then makes them available to actors from the arts, culture, education and sustainable businesses. It opens on Monday in the Stadtwirtschaft with lectures, music, performances and talks.
