On Saturday, 30 August 2025, dancers from Chemnitz, the cultural region and the Czech Republic will be performing between Hartmannhalle and Hartmannfabrik from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the people of Chemnitz and their guests. The varied dance programme for the whole family shows how many different ways there are to move to music.
The event will take place in parallel with the ‘Chemnitz malt’ event organised by Team Generation. While dancing takes place on stage, children, families and all creative minds can bring their ideas, dreams and images to life with chalk.
The diversity of dance will also remain permanently visible after 2025 on the musical trail through the city park. Kamenica Musica e.V. is designing information boards that will be on display along the Chemnitz from autumn onwards. A QR code will also allow visitors to access impressions of ‘Chemnitz tanzt’ there permanently.
