KOSMOS Chemnitz is growing. On 29 August 2026, the free city festival will take place in Chemnitz city centre for the fifth time. For the first time, there will be an opening show the evening before: the KOSMOS REVUE, a new addition to the festival programme. On Friday 28 August 2026, from 8 pm, the Main Hall of the Stadthalle will host a carefully curated evening of music, entertainment, conversation and surprising moments of pop culture. In true KOSMOS spirit, the aim is to experiment with new formats that break with convention.

Featuring:

Symba · Ebow · sarah4k · Vasil · Ana Lucia · Markus Syperek · Tina Goldschmidt · DJ Ron
Host: Lotta Kummer

KOSMOS Saturday remains free of charge: the KOSMOS REVUE is a deliberate extension of the festival. KOSMOS Saturday, 29 August 2026, will take place as usual free of charge in Chemnitz city centre and is open to all with free admission. The opening show on Friday evening creates a new, intimate setting for the festival weekend whilst also enabling new forms of production – all at a deliberately low admission price.

Tickets for the KOSMOS REVUE are priced at €25, including booking fees, and are available via Rausgegangen and the usual advance booking outlets at the Stadthalle.
