Maker culture not only lives in workshops, it becomes strong when it becomes visible and shareable. At Makers United, international creative minds, companies and institutions offer their innovative ideas for participation.

It's that time again. The Stadthalle Chemnitz will once again be transformed into a large hands-on workshop: At MAKERS UNITED, you can tinker, build, try out, explore, discover innovative things and get talking and MAKING with makers from all over the world, colleges, universities, companies, businesses, craft businesses and associations.

Simón Albers, TV and radio presenter for Toggo and others, will present the Young Makers University on the stage in the park and, together with everyone, will explore the topic of industrial culture.

Discover robotics, explore energy and work with textiles, electronics, 3D printing, wood, biomaterials, design, upcycling and a wide variety of tools - the Young Makers University invites you to try things out and join in. There is something for everyone here: whether young or older, professionally interested, already experienced or simply curious.

The makers united opens at 10 am. This will be followed by the Young Makers University with Simón Albers.

At the ‘Makers United’ hands-on fair, they will meet with creative people from other European countries and invite them to explore. The project is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025.
