Microproject | afterwork.walk + talk – Hiking along the PURPLE PATH

After-work walk to mark the launch of the PURPLE PATH Postal microproject.Get out of the city, into the countryside and go for a group walk along the PURPLE PATH.

A group walk along the PURPLE PATH from Chemnitz (Einsiedel district) to Amtsberg, on to the Dittersdorfer Höhe and back: with a walking time of around 3 hours, covering an 11 km route and over 250 metres of elevation gain and loss, this walk offers an active way to relax and switch off from everyday life.

Olaf Holzapfel’s “Zwei in ein ander Gewobene” invites you to linger, observe, explore, exchange ideas and forge new connections.

During a break on the walk, the micro-project ‘PURPLE PATH Postal’ will be presented. Insights, outlooks and information on upcoming walks along the PURPLE PATH and linocut workshops.

Because PURPLE PATH Postal = hiking + art + linocut printing.

The micro-projects are intended to provide impetus for new cultural formats or encounters in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region. The broad urban and regional society is called upon to create forms of communication and social interaction. The funding programme has existed for several years and is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025.
