From 24 to 26 July 2026, Waldschlösschenpark in Buchholz will be transformed into a meeting place for the whole family. As part of the celebrations marking 525 years of Buchholz, a varied programme of music, entertainment, sport and hands-on activities awaits you – admission is free on all days.

On Saturday 25 July 2026, the Bathtub Race will take place. The focus here is on fun, team spirit and original ideas. Teams spanning different generations will work together to come up with ideas for small, floatable creations, design them creatively and prepare for the race together. The subsequent competition forms the highlight of the project and creates an open and communal atmosphere. The project promotes exchange, cooperation and community engagement in the neighbourhood.
