OPEN COMMUNITY KITCHEN: Arabic, Afghan and Indian editions

The Open Community Kitchen invites you to enjoy culinary delights from Arab and Afghan countries, with a choir, dance and cookery course.

The event begins at 1 p.m. with Indian dance, followed by a performance by the Baladna band. The buffet opens at 3 p.m., inviting guests to enjoy specialities from Syria, Morocco, Afghanistan and India.

 

The Baladna group presents music and singing from the Arab and Turkish traditions, complemented by a dabke dance workshop.

The Sama group will perform fascinating Indian dance and offer a workshop.
