On 9 June, ten projects from the current call for proposals will present themselves at the Hartmannfabrik and provide insights into their work.

The successful micro-project funding initiative has been supporting civic engagement in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region for several years now. Funding is provided for non-commercial, creative projects that expand the Capital of Culture year with new formats and encounters, thereby strengthening the vision of a creative and vibrant Chemnitz.

Microprojects

The micro-projects are intended to provide impetus for new cultural formats or encounters in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region. The broad urban and regional society is called upon to create forms of communication and social interaction. The funding programme has existed for several years and is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025.
