Take a dip! Big Jump Chemnitz 2025 ~ Helgoland Chemnitz

The "Helgoland" intervention area on the River Chemnitz, completed by Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025, will be put into operation, tested and possibly further developed in thought for the European River Bathing Day Big Jump.

With the "Big Jump Chemnitz 2025", Chemnitz is taking part in the Europe-wide River Bathing Day for the first time - a symbolic start and call to use the newly created riverbanks of the intervention areas and immerse yourself in the natural water on site. We are in good company with over 60 other Big Jumps across Europe on 13 July.

On the agenda:

~ Chilling on the cliffs ~ River bathing survey ~ Fish sandwiches & fried fish ~

 

You will need: Picnic & blanket, swimwear, bathing shoes highly recommended.

A Big Jump photo will be taken around 3pm to be published.
