Author Stefan Tschök is visiting all 38 cities and municipalities along the PURPLE PATH in 2025. There, he will not only present his book "Was? Chemnitz?!" (engl.: “What? Chemnitz?!”), a tongue-in-cheek instruction manual for the Capital of Culture, but will also engage in dialogue with the residents: What do we actually get out of the Capital of Culture title locally? What are the benefits for us - and how can we get involved?
These questions are at the centre of the panel discussion, in which guests from the town always provide answers - as does the audience. In addition to Tschök, the mayor of Gersdorf, Erik Seidel, will be taking a seat in the Hessenmühle and providing information. The PURPLE PATH artwork "Heimat Ensemble II" by Jan Kummer will also be discussed.
