Capital of Culture 2025: Chemnitz housing cooperatives present benefit concert with the Big Band of the Bundeswehr

The Capital of Culture Year 2025 is of enormous importance for the city of Chemnitz, and the five major Chemnitz housing cooperatives CAWG eG, WG Einheit, WCW, SWG and CSg have decided to make a contribution to this special year. Together, they are organising a cultural highlight that is not to be missed.

Together for a good cause

In addition to the musical enjoyment, this charity concert focuses on a good cause. The patron of the event is the Lord Mayor of Chemnitz, Sven Schulze. As part of the concert, donations will be collected for a charitable project of the Johanneum Foundation Chemnitz. With the support of the visitors, a valuable contribution to the common good can be made together.

Another cultural highlight in the Capital of Culture year

With this event, the Chemnitz housing cooperatives would like to contribute another cultural highlight in the Capital of Culture year 2025.
