A multimedia exhibition about the lives of others

Illustration: Ulrike Schell (Bikini Kommando)

Older people who lived through the upheavals of the 20th century live all over Europe. Last year, students in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region as well as in Nova Gorica in Slovenia and Gorizia in Italy - which together were partner cities of the Capital of Culture in 2025 - spoke to elderly people about their lives. The resulting exhibition documented and presented these stories so that they would not be forgotten and future generations could learn from their experiences.
