Record picnics

Vinyl and friendship

Not so long ago, visitors entering a flat for the first time would head straight for the records. Minutes later, you’d have something to talk about – the vinyl was an opportunity to get to know each other and build a bond. Today, these treasures often languish hidden in boxes – and it’s time to bring them out into the light! Enter RECORD PICNICS, which are held throughout the year and all over the city, inviting you to tap your feet, learn to DJ and enjoy lots of conversations. The musical neighbourhood get-togethers are hosted by music lovers like radio legend Lutz Stolberg, former record shop owner Jan Kummer and DJ Cath Boo.
