Dagmar Ranft-Schinke was born in Chemnitz in 1944. From 1963 to 1968 she studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig and has been working as a freelance painter and graphic artist ever since. Between 1977 and 1982 she was a member of the artist group “Clara Mosch” and has been exhibiting at home and abroad since 1971.
